Make an Impact as a Commercial Furniture Lead Installer
At Pigott, we don't just install office furniture-we help create spaces where people thrive. As a Lead Installer, you'll guide a crew on projects for some of Iowa and South Dakota's most recognized healthcare, education, and business clients. You'll bring leadership, problem-solving, and craftsmanship to every project, ensuring we deliver on our promise to Create Exceptional Experiences .
This role is perfect for someone with hands-on installation or construction experience who's ready to step into leadership. If you've led crews before-even outside of furniture installation-you'll find a clear path for growth with us.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor an installation crew, setting the tone for teamwork and accountability
- Manage installation of MillerKnoll and other commercial furniture product lines
- Review drawings / blueprints and ensure installs meet project standards
- Troubleshoot issues on site and keep projects moving smoothly
- Communicate daily with the project team, clients, and contractors in a professional, solutions-focused way
- Train newer installers in Pigott's standards and help build their skills
- Take ownership of job readiness, site preparation, and follow-through to client sign-off
