Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment. Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor and confined spaces. Ability to work at heights and in challenging conditions. Ability to work overtime, if required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic cables and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of fiber optic technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cables and systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on fiber optic networks.
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best installation methods.
- Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve technical issues.
- Document installation processes and maintain accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service and support during installations and repairs.
