A company is looking for a Fiber Engineer responsible for the design and management of fiber paths in support of fiber-based services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign routes for fiber-based services including point-to-point and ring configurationsMaintain and update the fiber plant database and inventory management systemInterface with various teams to validate project specifications and ensure effective communicationRequired QualificationsFour-year college degree in Engineering or equivalent Telecom Network experience required3+ years of fiber design experience, including ring configurations and high-volume site deliveries requiredProficiency in MS Office, especially MS Visio and Excel; knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plusExperience with GIS-based platforms and fiber inventory systems, with GE Smallworld preferredKnowledge of Google Earth and ability to produce detailed KMZ files
