Daycare Teacher Needed Full-Time

Jovie Childcare Services - Cary, NC 27511

Compensation : $16 / hr

Responsibilities include overseeing groups of children, following curriculum, playing games, and ensuring the overall well-being of the children while maintaining state standards of care!

Position Requirements :

  • Team Player : We are looking for individuals who are serious about furthering their career in childcare or education.
  • Reliable : The ideal candidate will commit to working through the week and has demonstrated excellent attendance and reliability in previous roles.
  • Committed : Must be able to successfully implement program activities from the site coordinator.
  • Transportation : You must have reliable transportation for your daily shift.

Location : Greater Raleigh area

Onsite or Virtual : On-Site

Full or Part Time : Full-Time

Schedule : 40 hours per week : Monday thru Friday from 8 : 30 am-5 : 30 pm

Grade / Age Levels : Infants-Pre-K

Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) prior to being hired
  • 6 months or more of working with children outside of family
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to provide 2 childcare references.
  • Must be able to pass a detailed background screen with fingerprinting
  • Must be 18 years or older

    • What You Will be Doing :

  • Caring for children Infants-Pre-K
  • Assisting center / lead teacher in classroom management, leading group, and individual activities
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of children in your care
  • Clean up and pick up responsibilities
