Job Summary :

The Field Inspector performs field inspections of cable / fiber placement, cable / fiber splicing, and telecommunications construction work on customer job sites.

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to) :

• Travel (daily) to assigned locations and conduct site inspections.
• Inspect telecommunication cables and the work of field personnel and / or contractors / sub-contractors.
• Documentation and reporting of field results.
• Attend field meetings with field personnel as well as government agencies and construction contractors.
• Operate and maintain field equipment and tools such as laptop, iPad, height stick, camera, personal protective equipment (PPE), etc.
• May perform invoicing and manage work orders for subcontractor work.
• Other duties as assigned.
