Role Description
We are seeking a hands-on Event Marketing Manager to lead and execute our in-person event strategy. This role is responsible for driving high-quality inbound leads through local events, industry collaborations, and large-scale conferences.
The ideal candidate understands how to engage construction industry stakeholdersincluding developers, general contractors, and subcontractorsand can translate in-person conversations into real pipeline opportunities.
Qualifications:
Event Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute local in-person events such as meetups, workshops, project showcases, and partner events
- Manage participation in industry conferences and trade shows (booth setup, staffing, demos, logistics)
- Oversee vendors, venues, event materials, and timelines
Industry Collaboration & Partnerships
- Coordinate with construction industry partners, including subcontractors, developers, suppliers, and associations
- Support co-hosted events and sponsorships with industry organizations
- Build long-term relationships with event organizers and industry collaborators
Inbound Lead Generation
- Design events with a clear focus on inbound lead capture and qualification
- Engage directly with developers, contractors, and subcontractors at events
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure clean lead handoff and follow-up
Conference & Field Marketing
- Represent the company professionally at construction-focused conferences and local industry events
- Train internal attendees on industry-specific messaging and value propositions
- Ensure event messaging resonates with real-world construction workflows
Measurement & Reporting
- Track event performance: attendance, lead quality, conversions, and ROI
- Deliver post-event insights to improve future event strategy
Required
- 25+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing
- Proven experience managing in-person events and conferences
- Strong organizational and execution skills
- Comfortable working on-site and engaging directly with customers
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Better to have
- Experience working in the construction or real estate development industry
- Direct exposure to subcontractors, general contractors, developers, or suppliers
- Familiarity with construction industry events, trade shows, or associations
- Understanding of how decisions are made on construction projects
