Accounting Clerk

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a food wholesaler in Denver, CO. The Accounting Clerk reports to the Accounting Supervisor and plays a key part in the accounting operations, focusing on cash application, accounts receivable, and supporting various administrative tasks.

Location : North Denver, Co. (onsite)

Salary Range : $50,000 - $ 60,000

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk :

  • Accounts Receivable :

Apply and post checks and cash received into the accounting system.

  • Process payments via electronic uploads for lockbox and miscellaneous accounts.
  • Manage and maintain specific customer accounts, including reconciliations as needed.
  • New Customer Setup :

    • Conduct credit application reviews and establish credit terms for new customers.

  • General Support :

    • Assist with other accounting and finance functions as required.

    Accounting Clerk Qualifications :

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with ERP systems and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Team player mindset with a willingness to support cross-departmental efforts.
