Performs and coordinates support-related activities for the Area Office, including, but not limited to : assignments of a confidential nature; supervision of assigned support staff; answering and / or referring inquires to appropriate parties for action; composing and / or preparing correspondence ,reports, and / or memoranda according to standard procedures; maintaining files and records to include confidential records; assuming primary responsibility for "Keeper of the Records” functions; and providing support to immediate Supervisor and other Managers as needed.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to Area Director and / or Area Management Team.
Create, type and / or prepare correspondence and / or reports as needed.
Case Redaction activities as appropriate;.
Maintain case archive process for the area office, including records management, archive submissions, and archive requests.
Track the data drive information used in case assignments and personnel management.
Ability to understand and apply the laws, rules, policies, and procedures governing assigned unit activities.
Ability to follow written and oral instruction
Ability to use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling
Ability to file material in accordance with standard filing procedures
Ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral expression
