The Events Director serves Union Churchs experience department as its event planner in both strategy and execution for all internal and external events. This role involves meticulous planning, creative thinking, and effective communication to ensure the success of events that align with Union church's mission, values and standard of excellence. The Events Director possesses an above-average administrative skillset (planning, calendaring, budgeting, etc.), is incredibly detailed, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a quick-thinker and anticipate needs. The Events Director will ensure constant evaluation of events that occur to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creative Design
Ideate new and robust backdrops and designs for lobby areas at all campuses. Ensuring that all major series and events (At The Movies, Women's Night, etc) have a creative edge and interactive element for attendees.
Plan and execute various events, including conferences, one days and special services. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ideate event elements that contribute to effectively building a member-centered, value-added, ministry experience at Union Church.
Maintain and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and adherence to financial guidelines.
Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, transportation, and other event-related services.

Union Church offers a generous compensation package. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
