Ensuring our content is accurate and contains the latest medical research and evidence-based health best practices is core to our mission to empower and inspire people to live their healthiest lives every day.The applicant should have strong project management skills to shepherd content through workflows with medical reviewers, writers, SEO, etc. Reporting to the Director of Content Updates, the editor will work with freelance writers and editors to respond quickly to health and consumer trends.The ideal candidate has demonstrated digital storytelling and editing skills, as well as a familiarity with evolving SEO best practices. This specific individual should be a thorough, independent editor with the ability to prioritize and excel in a deadline-driven environment.Key Responsibilities

• Work on content updates projects across EH, helping to manage workflows to meet established deadlines
• React quickly to health news / trends to ensure all content is updated strategically
• Write content briefs for updaters to implement
• Work with a team of freelance content writers and editors
• Ensure content adheres to Everyday Health style guidelines and editorial standards
• Manage editorial workflow (AirTable experience preferred) through publication, including working with the Marketing team, SEO, photo / design, medical review, copy edit, and production
• Top editing and review of updates as needed
