Position Overview
The Department of Finance at The Ohio State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) of Finance to begin Autumn 2026. We welcome and will consider all applications, but we will focus our search especially on the areas where we have recruiting needs, which are microstructure, and behavioral finance.
We stress excellence in research and in teaching at the undergraduate, MBA and / or Ph.D. levels.

Education and Experience Requirements
Candidates for Assistant Professor should have a Ph.D. in finance or economics, or expect to complete a Ph.D. in the near future. Priority areas for recruiting are microstructure and behavioral finance. Candidates should demonstrate the potential for outstanding achievement in research and teaching.

Fisher College of Business has a rich research tradition and engages through the college and the Graduate School in programs at the undergraduate, master and doctoral levels.
