  • Generate new originations through disciplined, proactive prospecting (both in person and virtually) of small-ticket equipment vendors and select direct end-use customers.
  • Leverage an established industry network and existing vendor relationships to drive immediate and sustained production.
  • Consistently meet or exceed defined volume and profitability goals.

Vendor Relationship & Program Development

  • Identify, solicit, and onboard new vendor relationships aligned with target markets and credit appetite.
  • Establish and manage vendor financing programs, engaging at the C-suite and senior leadership level to build long-term, strategic partnerships.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition and equip vendors with marketing materials, tools, and processes to successfully offer financing programs to their customers.
  • Represent at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.

Transaction Execution & Client Support

  • Provide consultative financing support to vendors and end-user customers, including quoting, transaction structuring, and presenting tailored financing solutions.
  • Engage directly with end-user customers as needed to support deal flow and close transactions.
  • Ensure accurate transaction structuring, pricing, and documentation in alignment with internal policies and credit standards.

Strategic Contribution & Collaboration

  • Partner with leadership to identify new target markets, verticals, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with credit, operations, and servicing teams to ensure efficient onboarding, funding, and ongoing portfolio support.
  • Share market insights and feedback to help refine products, vendor programs, and go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications & Experience Required Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in equipment finance with a primary focus on the small-ticket vendor financing segment
  • Demonstrated, verifiable track record of individual sales production and profitable origination.
  • Minimum 5 years of success in new vendor development and ongoing account management.
  • Extensive experience developing, structuring, and managing vendor programs end-to-end.
  • Strong working knowledge of lease and loan documentation, with significant experience negotiating documentation with end-user borrowers.
  • Advanced proficiency in transaction structuring and pricing, including use of TValue and financial calculators.

Strongly Preferred

  • Active, transferable vendor relationships within the small-ticket equipment finance segment.
  • Established industry network that can be leveraged to generate production quickly.
  • Ability to step into the role with minimal ramp-up and immediately contribute to new originations.

Additional Qualifications

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-directed, independent producer who maintains a high level of professionalism while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred (or equivalent industry experience).

Why Join First Business Equipment Finance?

  • Opportunity to play a key growth role within an established and respected equipment finance platform.
  • A role built for experienced producers who value autonomy, accountability, and measurable impact.
  • Backed by experienced credit, operations, and servicing teams that understand small-ticket vendor finance and support efficient deal execution.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with performance and results.
  • Collaborative, relationship-driven culture with access to senior leadership.
