Description

The Opportunity

As a D365 F&O Developer specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) you will design, develop, and deploy solutions on the Dynamics 365 F&O platform. The ideal candidate will have not just expertise in X++, but also strong problem-solving skills and experience with ERP system integration.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for full software lifecycle development including design, development, customization, testing, and deployment of Dynamics 365 F&O
  • Configure and administer D365 F&O data management
  • Incorporate knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services tools to create efficient automation in the system development lifecycle
  • Create solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and industry-specific products / addons (ISVs)
  • Integrate, migrate and / or convert data between Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and other systems ensuring data integrity and governance are maintained
  • Handle code merges, builds, and deployments to all environments
  • May occasionally provide guidance to or develop solutions for other platforms
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs and maintain system stability
  • Review X++ code for performance and best practices
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize software efficiency and performance
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously through Azure DevOps task management
  • Use the latest best practices and techniques recommended by Microsoft and the D365 community
  • Maintain confidentiality of information processed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and work closely with partners in the Financial Systems department to define enhancement priorities aligned with business objectives and financial processes
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, and user manuals
  • Build relationships with external vendors who will work closely to help build and maintain Ulteig's Business applications on an as needed basis

What We Expect from You

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Extensive experience in Dynamics AX or D365 F&O in a similar consulting role specifically with project accounting modules and processes
  • Extensive experience in multiple programming languages and complex system architecture including X++, C#, .Net, SQL, and reporting technologies.
  • Leads projects, may mentor junior staff, and contributes to technical decision-making.
  • Expertise in design patterns, optimization techniques, and best practices.
  • Minimum of two full lifecycle ERP implementations leading a technical workstream
  • Experience with LCS, Azure DevOps, and Visual Studio
  • Proficiency in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) methodologies
  • Knowledge of security principles as they apply to web applications
  • Proficiency in Software Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Demonstrated ability to debug applications in various software languages
  • Self-motivated and capable of completing tasks independently or in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

    Additional Opportunity Details :

    Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $125,400 - $169,600

  • Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
