A rapidly growing company headquartered in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Controller.  This role is responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance operations of the company.   The company offers a great work environment in addition to tremendous exposure  is viewed as a key part of the leadership team.

This is a hybrid role, Salary to $140K

Controllership duties :

• Oversee all accounting operations including transactional accounting, cash management, month, and year end close

You will play a key role in the Annual Budgeting cycle as well as subsequent forecasting and analysis

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports

Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements

Manage cash flow and the cash forecast

Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls

Function as the primary liaison to the external audit team Leadership and Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team

Establish clear performance goals and provide regular feedback

Partner with global teams to provide financial insight and support International operations Strategic Planning

Work with leadership and provide financial insights and results to help formulate strategy

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

Evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Qualifications :

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 6 years of experience overseeing financial and accounting operations

CPA is a huge plus

Experience leading a team is ideal

Experience in a manufacturing or related industry is also a plus

General knowledge of ERP systems is required (SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
