KeyResponsibilities

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. The requirements are general accounting management skills. Advanced degree preferred, CPA if possible but not required.
  • Experience : 8 to 15 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, including at least 5 years in managerial positions with increasing responsibilities, encompassing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting, ideally within the hospitality or the real estate industries.
  • Skills

  • Leadership Skills : Ability to lead and manage accounting teams effectively, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Technical Accounting Expertise : In-depth knowledge of GAAP, USALI and financial reporting standards.
  • Financial Analysis : Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strategic Thinking : Capability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Project Management : Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives and deadlines.
  • Risk Management : Understanding of risk assessment and the ability to implement controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Problem -Solving Skills : Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Technology Proficiency : Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Dataplus), as well as advanced Excel skills.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting : Experience in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to guide business decisions.
  • Regulatory Knowledge : Awareness of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the accounting field.
  • Real Estate Investment Trust experience preferred.
  • Must possess a strategic mindset with a knack for analyzing situations and making sound decisions.
  • Emotional intelligence is essential for building relationships and managing team dynamics. Resilience and adaptability are crucial traits to navigate the fast-paced nature of our work.
