Job Title : Finance Manager
Location : Phoenix, AZ 85043
100% onsite
Duration : 06 Months Contract (possible extension and conversion to FTE)
Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, Business Hours
NOTE : Incumbent must be willing to work irregular hours, rotation shifts, weekends and holidays, when necessary
Must Haves :
Experience with Oracle (OBIEE Preferred) and SAP
Experience with cost accounting - minimum 3 years
2 years of experience in manufacturing company (Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus).
Objective of Position :
This role leads and is responsible for financial reporting and technical accounting applications to include US GAAP compliance, evaluation and implementation of new accounting rules and guidance for complex transactions, internal controls support, year-end close and audit support, product cost maintenance, inventory management and management reporting among other tasks for the Bio-Sterile manufacturing facility located in Phoenix, AZ. This position must comply with all Security guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) required by the job function.
Responsibilities :
Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Maintain Product Costs in Oracle
- OPM management (Copy costs, close WIP batches, run pre-processor, create accounting, and open Orgs)
- Update Source Org Rollup in OPM
- Check for Inventory Mfg. Errors
- Inventory management
- Support the Site MRB Review process
- Perform Inventory write-offs & reserves analysis and highlight potential risks
- Perform quarterly 3rd party WHSE visits, inventory count audits and monitor WHSE cycle counts
- Material disposals / destructions periodic controls verification
- Manufacturing overhead and absorption tracking and monthly closing
- Manufacturing variance analysis
- WIP analysis
- PPV analysis
- Headcount and Department Expense Tracking / Reporting
- Coordinates and record spending accruals for MRO, services and utilities.
- Participates in Business Unit meetings and Tiers, prepares financial results package and cost data for discussion
- Works with business leaders to establish reporting and provide analysis that will assist operations in achieving and help drive performance.
- Fixed Assets & Capital reporting (CIP review, fixed asset reporting, depreciation calculations)
- Fixed Assets reporting (CIP, Spending, Capitalizations, Project Closings)
- CIP Reviews
- Depreciation calculation & tracking
- Annual Idle Fixed Assets Review
- Payroll to GL review / reconciliation
- Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
Budget / Projections : Responsible for select departments
Assists with internal and external audits, as needed.
Represents Finance in the site’s forums / meetings and shares financial results.
Assists and supports Operational Excellence and other areas with the calculation of financial impact on opportunities
Maintain internal control procedures as well as ensure compliance with SOX
