Finance Manager
C & B Operations, LLC is a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 35 years to include thirty-six John Deere dealerships in six states. Currently, it has a full-time opening for a finance manager in its Billings, Montana location. This position provides lead generation and strategic input to the sales department regarding equipment financing and warranty options.
Essential duties include : liaison for the sales department, maintaining and communicating up-to-date financing programs to the sales department to help structure deals, providing information on program details, unit eligibility, program protection, etc, including John Deere Financial and third-party lenders, reviewing workflow of deal documents daily for accuracy and timeliness, notification of loan / lease approvals to the sales department, generating loan / lease documents and providing to the sales department for customer signature, preparing loan and lease quotes to the sales department, monitoring lead generator tools that can be used to make the sales team aware of finance opportunities, customer interactions, interacting directly with customers and effectively communicating pricing and coverage components for warranty products available for purchase, including Powergard and other third-party products, finance administration, assisting finance manager in the loan application process for customers seeking finance options for their equipment purchases, keeping records of loan applications, loans and leases secure and protected, obtaining, recording and storing tax exemption records, monitoring past due accounts, other duties as assigned, presenting financial service products in a compliant manner, requesting additional information required from lenders from the customer or the sales team when required, understanding the customer's specific needs and tailoring terms that fit their needs, obtaining payoff information for trade / consigned equipment, providing customer service for customer requested payoffs, invoices, lease maturity, etc, providing notification and follow-up on maturing leases at John Deere Financial.
Qualifications : bachelor's degree in finance or related AG business experience, customer facing experience in sales / lending role, excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently.
