This is where you can learn from industry leaders and become one yourself. It's fast-paced, mission-based work that challenges the status quo. Be on the team that's changing the world.
What we're looking for :
Nexamp is looking for a Finance Manager to lead the Clean Energy Deployment (CED) Finance vertical within the Finance & Treasury team. Reporting to the VP of Finance & Treasury, this individual will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the CED business unit, including reforecasting solar project margins, budgeting and forecasting key revenue streams, and leading the internal strategy for financing IRA ITC adders. In close collaboration with Nexamp's CED teams, the Finance Manager will play a vital role in driving company profitability.
As a key contributor to Nexamp's broader finance and operations strategy, this role will work cross-functionally with teams including Construction, Engineering, Supply Chain, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting. Additionally, the Finance Manager will mentor and develop a team of analysts, all focused on supporting CED financial operations and driving profitability.
This is a hybrid position based in Nexamp's Boston office.
What you'll do :
- Manage the financial operations for the Clean Energy Deployment (CED) business unit, including reforecasting solar project margins, budgeting, and forecasting CED and development fee revenues on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Additionally, prepare executive presentations for senior management and the C-suite.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses related to solar project construction timelines, inventory management, and overall operational strategy to align with company objectives and drive profitability.
- Assist in the execution of corporate budgeting and reforecasting processes by refining inputs based on historical trend analyses and actualized data, while also preparing investor reporting dashboards on a quarterly basis.
- Lead internal strategy and reporting for Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) ITC adders, with a focus on domestic content, and oversee execution of financing efforts with lenders, investors, and consultants.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including the development of standard and ad hoc reports, tools, dashboards, and automation initiatives (e.g., AI-driven enhancements).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key business unit leaders to provide data-driven insights that inform tactical and strategic planning across Nexamp's construction business.
- Mentor and manage a team of Finance Analysts, fostering their professional development to achieve department goals.
- Provide ad hoc reporting to support the executive team as needed.
What you'll bring :
If you don't meet 100% of the above qualifications, but see yourself contributing, please submit an application. We encourage people from minority or marginalized groups to apply.
