The Opportunity
Leverage your industry expertise and join our expanding team in this Finance Accountant I opportunity. The Finance Accountant I will be responsible for handling data calls and statistical reporting to regulatory authorities, including the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) and the Insurance Services Office (ISO). This position will possess strong data analysis skills, a critical thinking mindset, and the ability to manage deadlines and cleanse data to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations
The success of our company is rooted in teamwork, the way we care about the people we work with and serve. This hybrid role will work in our Raleigh office for a minimum of two days with the flexibility of working from home three days a week.
Your WORK as a Finance Accountant I will make a difference by :
- Prepare and submit accurate data calls and statistical reports to regulatory authorities ( e.g., NCCI and ISO), ensuring compliance with industry standards and deadlines.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis, cleansing, and validation to maintain data integrity and identify trends and inconsistencies.
- Stay informed on regulatory requirements to ensure statistical reporting aligns with current standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., actuarial, claims, analytics) to gather data and resolve discrepancies for timely report submissions.
- Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet regulatory timelines with strong organizational skills.
- Assist in improving and streamlining data collection and reporting processes, to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the reporting cycle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
