We are looking for an experienced Finance Controlle r to join our growing team and bring our financial reporting and analysis to new levels of accuracy and timeliness. As Finance Controller , you'll collaborate with senior leadership, overseeing our software business's finance operations. You will lead financial reporting for capital partners and enhance budgeting, metrics analysis, financial controls, payroll, and other key financial areas.

Controller Responsibilities :
Manage finance and accounting operations : reporting, revenue / cost recognition, working capital, liquidity, commissions, contracts, billing, cost controls, and risk management.
Prepare the annual budget and financial forecasts.
Handle invoicing and collections.
Prepare and publish GAAP-compliant monthly financial statements.
Distribute internal management reports.
Support month-end / year-end ledger processes.
Oversee annual audits and tax returns.
Supervise contract administration and maintain database accuracy.
Ensure compliance with loan covenants and government reporting.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
Manage internal financial data collection and reporting.
Controller Qualifications and Skills :
Excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.
5+ years as a Controller or Assistant Controller.
10+ years of accounting and finance experience.
Background in software service companies with experience in collaborating with institutional investors or private equity-backed firms.
Experience working with a Board of Directors, including preparing reports, presenting financial data, and advising on key financial decisions.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, or economics.
Strong GAAP knowledge.
Experience with financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel / Google Sheets.
