Description
Position : Finance / HR Manager
Status : Full time, exempt
Reports to : Pastor
St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Gladstone, Missouri has an immediate opening for a Finance / HR Manager. This is a leadership position, responsible for the efficient and effective administration of the financial reporting and analysis, physical plant management and human resources of the parish, serving as the primary on-site decision maker with matters of significance. This position reports to the Pastor.
Essential Duties
- Manage and direct all accounting functions such as budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, and financial reporting.
- Prepare, administer and review budget process in collaboration with the Pastor and Finance Council.
- Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor to ensure buildings, grounds, and mechanical systems are properly maintained.
- Direct the office administrative functions related to parish ministries and daily operations.
- Oversee and coordinate parish development activities such as special events, estate planning, and donor programs.
- Manage the human resources needs of our parish staff, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, medical leaves, and policy implementation.
- Manage the parish staff and volunteers.
