This Digital Finance Specialist Intern paves the way for many exciting career opportunities for the right candidates.

Finance is a critical role within any program / organization. It looks at all the aspects of finance - Tax / Treasury / Financial planning and analysis / Accounting. This includes the intersection of finance and Information Technology.

What You'll Do

The Digital Transformation (DT) program is looking into transforming the entire company. Interns in the DT Finance team would learn more about key processes like Idea to retire, Quote to Cash, Plan to Fulfil, Source to Settle and Global Information Systems, in the manufacturing and engineering industry, as well how they are all interconnected. You would work directly with Business Unit stakeholders and Subject Matter Specialists. They also would understand key aspects of integrating core platforms such as Workday Adaptive, Vertex and SAPS / 4, Microsoft Azzure and the data flows across the systems.

This role could serve as a launch pad for students to obtain a broad understanding of the finance function and technology.

Who We're Looking For

• Graduate students majoring in Computer Science, Finance, Business or related subjects
• Graduating in 2025 or 2026 preferred
• Leadership and Project Management skills demonstrated through participation in extracurricular activities or previous work experience.
• Result oriented with the ability to analyze and problem solve.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced dynamic and challenging environment.
• Written / oral communication and presentation skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization including Executives
• Ability to learn new skills and applications quickly with minimal guidance
• Good academic standing
• Additional qualifications - Process mapping, Flowcharting, modelling skills
• Additional qualifications - knowledge of Manufacturing, Semi-Conductor or Engineering processes
• Additional qualifications - Knowledge of S / 4, Workday Adaptive or Vertex
• Additional qualifications - Knowledge of the finance function Tax / Treasury / Financial planning and analysis / Accounting

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position : $23.00 - $31.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
