Financial Aid Technician
The Financial Aid Technician is responsible for performing administrative, clerical, and customer service duties in support of student financial aid services. The position is housed at the Carroll Campus with occasional travel between campuses required. Essential Functions :
- Greet visitors, answer telephones, respond to texts and emails, and provide financial aid information and resources to students, parents, and the general public (30%)
- Instruct students in correct procedures for completing forms and applications, special requirements and restrictions, and supporting documentation (20%)
- Evaluate financial aid applications and supporting documents for accuracy, clarity, and completeness to determine basic eligibility for financial aid (20%)
- Update appropriate BANNER screens related to document intake process (15%)
- Provide clerical support to financial aid staff as needed (10%)
- Other duties as assigned (5%)

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
This is a full-time position, mainly located on the Carroll Campus. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 6 pm and Friday, 8 am until 12 pm. This position occasionally requires longer hours and some weekend work.
Travel :
Travel to other campus locations is required, as needed. Some overnight travel may be required.
Required Education and Experience :
High School diploma or GED and (1) year of work related experience.
