Pride Health is looking for Financial Analyst to our client's medical facility, which is in Detroit, MI . This is a great role with a 6 Month role and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! It's 100% onsite

Job Title : Financial Analyst

Rate : $55 / hr to 60 / hr

Duration : 6 +Month Contract with possibility of extension depends on your performance

Job Description : Job Summary :

The Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing, validating, and analyzing financial information. This includes preparing journal entries, maintaining fixed asset records, and reconciling fixed asset and other general ledger account balances on a monthly basis. The role also involves working closely with other departments to assist with fixed asset and other financial issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare fixed asset account reconciliations, investigating and clearing any reconciling items.

Review fixed asset project and purchase requests for proper accounting treatment and compliance with the system's capital policy.

Work closely with departments to recognize asset retirements in a timely manner.

Provide support for internal and external audits.

Assist in footnote preparation for quarterly / annual financial statements.

Perform other responsibilities or assignments as required.

Required Skills & Experience :

3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Education :

Required Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Education : Master's Degree preferred.
