Job descriptionAssist in the creation of annual budgets for cloud development initiatives, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the business. Contribute to quarterly forecasting processes and help provide detailed analysis of forecasted performance. Maintain and track financial data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the financial models. Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate cloud project costs and other key financial metrics. Analyze historical financial data to support long-term planning and budgeting processes for cloud development. Work closely with cloud development teams to understand project requirements and align financial resources accordingly. Partner with senior finance team members to provide insights and recommendations on cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Assist with financial decision-making by providing actionable insights on project budgets and financial forecasts. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and forecasting activities for the cloud development team. Help develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial processes related to cloud projects. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. Certification in financial analysis (e.g., CFA Level I or related) is a plus. 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in technology or cloud computing industries. Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis. Familiarity with financial software (e.g., Excel, NetSuite). Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Solid understanding of cloud computing financial models, pricing strategies, and industry trends. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Team player with excellent collaboration skills. High level of initiative and eagerness to learn. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle complex financial challenges.
