Job descriptionImplement and manage systems for tracking deferred revenue, renewals, and billing cycles. Dashboards and Visibility : Develop, maintain, and analyze interactive dashboards that visualize key financial metrics like recurring revenue (MRR), customer acquisition cost (CAC), churn rate, and other important KPIs, providing insights to leadership for strategic decision-making. Experience : Minimum of 4 - 6 years in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years within a Series A or later-stage company. Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of accounting software and financial management tools. Analytical Skills : Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly. Position Overview : The Financial Controller will be pivotal in overseeing Continu's financial health, ensuring robust financial controls, and providing strategic recommendations to support our growth trajectory. This role demands a professional with a proven track record in Series A or later-stage companies, adept at navigating the complexities of a scaling organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Reporting : Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Develop and manage comprehensive budgets and forecasts, aligning financial planning with Continu's strategic objectives.
- Internal Controls : Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Compliance : Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and reporting requirements, coordinating audits and implementing necessary recommendations.
- Strategic Partnership : Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making processes.
- SaaS-Specific Financial Management :
Manage and optimize key SaaS metrics, including ARR, MRR, churn, LTV, CAC, and customer retention costs.
