Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Financial Analyst (Financial Analysis, Associate) to support a federal government client in the Washington, DC area. Responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise in Treasury Information Executive Repository (TIER) reporting, Federal standard general ledger (SGL) accounting, budget execution, unliquidated obligations (ULOs) and cost accounting to support development of MS Power Apps and RPA automations.
This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company / contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Validate as-is processes for agency financial processes such as ULO monitoring, cost accounting and TIER reporting.
- Identify gaps in current process and system limitations to help develop improved to-be processes, automation and tools
- Support development of to-be processes and system solutions
- Support functional testing of new applications
- Support user functional training and guide development
- Support agency with budget execution including working with points of contact to validate status of agency ULOs on a monthly basis
Travel
Limited travel may be required to client regional offices.

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $115,000 - $140,000 per year.
