As the Technology Finance Director youll lead a team of Financial Business Analysts to transform how we report analyze and communicate insights. Well count on you to craft compelling narratives modernize reporting and analytics and guide associates to deliver accurate actionable insights that drive smarter decisions across Technology and Finance.

This role does not qualify for employer sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.

It is our intention to fill this role in Columbus OH.

This position will be hired on a SuccessFlex hired associate will be required to come into the office 2 days per week according to the departments current hybrid schedule.

Job Description Summary

As a Director youll contribute to the effective management of Nationwides portfolio investment through results people and personal performance categories. Well count on you to provide financial informational administrative advisory and analytical services to senior leaders relative to the coordination and management of the transformation project / program portfolio. Youll develop and implement functional portfolio performance measures track analyze and communicate portfolio risk and performance.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned

Reporting Relationships : Reports to Vice President / Officer. Manages a team of four or more financial professionals.

Typical Skills and Experiences :

Education : Undergraduate studies in finance economics accounting or statistics; advanced degree in financial field desired. Technical insurance coursework desirable.

License / Certification / Designation : CPA preferred.

Experience : Typically ten or more years of relevant experience related to accounting finance insurance or administrative business functions with at least five years of management level experience.

Knowledge Abilities and Skills : Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis financial statement preparation budgeting and financial analysis techniques and related business operations. Facility with GAAP and statutory accounting practices and insurance / financial service business requirements. Thorough knowledge of administrative policies and procedures required.

Other criteria including leadership skills competencies and experiences may take precedence.
