LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Finance Analyst for an organization in the logistics industry, located in Austin, TX. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational efficiency and strategic decision-making by providing financial insights, conducting analysis, and contributing to the company’s overall financial health and growth.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics along with 3–4 years of experience in corporate finance or FP&A roles, with a strong preference for candidates that possess Big 4 transaction services / advisory experience. Proficiency in financial modeling and tools like Excel and Tableau, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Familiarity with emergency management or infrastructure industries is a plus. Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
- Analyze project budgets and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and return on investment (ROI) evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor financial performance and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in assessing business opportunities, partnerships, and investments to ensure financial alignment with company objectives.
- Support contract analysis and negotiations to maintain financial feasibility.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic initiatives.
- Manage month-end expense accruals to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
