Finance Opportunity At Corwell Health William Beaumont University Hospital
Leads the preparation, research and analysis of financial and utilization information to support the General Finance Department goals and objectives. Oversees the extraction of financial data from various accounting and information systems to perform statistical, cost and financial analysis for the preparation of management reports. Serves as a liaison between employees and management providing day to day leadership to team members to improve the overall quality and timeliness of the deliverable. Responsible for handling the more complex aspects and issues of the General Finance Department.
Essential Functions
- Serves as a resource to all team members and mentors new employees assigned to team.
- Performs statistical, cost, and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provides guidance on business issues including financial and profitability analysis. Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
- Acts as a consultant to assigned areas of the organization to support the financial goals and objectives of Corewell Health.
