Job descriptionStrong working knowledge of SAP (particularly SAP FICO, and CO modules) Advanced Excel skills, financial modeling expertise, and experience with dashboard / reporting tools Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills Ability to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable insights Demonstrated ability to use business software systems Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Outlook, and Word Proven ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment Must be able to follow processes and procedures Must be organized, reliable and punctual Detail-oriented and the ability to handle multiple tasks within deadlines Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment Compensation commensurate with experience. Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
12 Month Assignment)
Reporting to the Global VP of Finance
Summary :
The FP&A Manager plays a pivotal role in steering financial strategy and supporting business decisions through data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. This role requires strong proficiency in SAP to optimize financial processes and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Essential Functions of the Job :
The main activities of the position include but are not limited to the following :
- Develop and analyze key financial metrics and operational KPIs to assess company performance
- Lead forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes
- Create and maintain detailed financial models and variance analyses
- Drive monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts
- Utilize SAP tools to streamline data extraction, reporting, and financial dashboards
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making
- Support cost accounting and inventory management initiatives through SAP
- Maintain transfer pricing and analysis for the business
- Identify process improvements and implement automation to reduce manual effort
- Support other Finance team needs within the division
- Assist in the preparation of Luxfer Inc’s. annual financial statements and related US GAAP disclosures. Provide support and work with the company’s accounting firm to complete the annual audit in a timely fashion.
- Support Sarbanes-Oxley internal control compliance processes and assist the Internal Audit department with periodic audits and reviews.
- Participate in the month end closing for all North American Luxfer Gas Cylinders divisions. Including the preparation of complete and accurate financial statements.
Job Skills and Requirements :
Education / Training Requirements :
B.S. Degree from a four-year college or university; and a minimum of four years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA or CPA preferred.
