Job Description
We are looking for a proactive Risk Analyst to ensure clients’ security and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will conduct compliance audits for data backups, ensuring integrity and adherence to regulations. You will manage Zero Trust tickets, handle escalations, and implement Zero Trust security measures for new clients to ensure secure onboarding.
You will monitor and respond to alerts from MDR / EDR tools, addressing potential threats, and investigate phishing email tickets to prevent breaches. Promptly responding to SIEM alerts to resolve security incidents will also be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will manage firewall-related requests, including changes and patching, and escalate security tool issues as necessary to maintain system integrity.
As part of incident response, you will participate in managing and mitigating security incidents effectively. You will review client security measures and provide recommendations, conduct vulnerability report reviews, and audit the deployment of security tools to ensure proper implementation. Furthermore, you will evaluate and improve security awareness training programs through regular audits.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with security tools, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position participates in an on-call rotation that may require work outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
3 years of experience in a related position with at least 1 year of experience working with a Managed Services Provider being preferred
CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred
Proficiency in deploying and tuning Anti-Virus or Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools to ensure optimal performance and security.
Advanced knowledge of firewall technologies and their configuration to protect network infrastructure
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and its applications for effective collaboration and productivity
Basic understanding of Public Cloud platforms and their services to support cloud-based solutions
All positions require the successful completion of a criminal background check, and further background checks if the position involves access to sensitive information or secure facilities.
Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position : Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A & B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions, and Open Arrest for any Criminal Offense, and Family Violence Convictions.
