The Dining Room Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the dining area, ensuring excellent customer service, food quality, and cleanliness. This role involves supervising staff, managing reservations, and maintaining a positive dining experience for guests.
Responsibilities :
1. Supervise dining room staff and ensure they adhere to service standards and procedures.
2. Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
3. Assist in training and onboarding new dining room employees.
4. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries.
5. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
6. Address customer concerns and escalate issues as needed.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
8. Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate billing.
Qualifications :
1. Proven experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills.
3. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
5. Knowledge of food and beverage operations.
6. Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting principles.
7. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus.
