Position : Construction Framer

Overview : BBSI is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Framer! You will be responsible for the assembly and construction of the structural framework of buildings, as well as the installation of trim, decks, windows, and siding. This role requires a solid understanding of building plans and specifications, along with the ability to measure, cut, and assemble wood and metal components with precision. The ideal candidate will have experience in framing, deck building, window installation, and siding, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities :

• Read and Interpret Blueprints : Accurately interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of structures.
• Frame Construction : Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, or other materials to construct the framework for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements.
• Trim Installation : Install interior and exterior trim, ensuring precise cuts and a clean finish, including baseboards, crown molding, and other decorative elements.
• Deck Building : Construct decks according to specifications, including laying out, framing, and installing decking materials.
• Window Installation : Install windows, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and functionality.
• Siding Installation : Install various types of siding, such as vinyl, wood, or fiber cement, ensuring a weather-tight and aesthetically pleasing finish.
• Install Framing Components : Install beams, joists, trusses, and studs, ensuring alignment and structural integrity.
• Secure Structures : Use nails, screws, bolts, and other fasteners to secure framing materials in place, ensuring the stability and safety of the structure.
• Work with Power Tools : Safely operate power tools, such as saws, drills, and nail guns, to complete framing tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Adhere to Safety Standards : Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
• Quality Control : Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the required standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
