Job descriptionPrevious experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of concrete mix designs, finishing techniques, and related tools and materials. Ability to work well in a team and follow safety protocols. Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver's license. ViaSun Corporation is currently seeking skilled and experienced Concrete Finishers to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a critical role in the construction and finishing of concrete structures, ensuring a smooth and durable surface.
Your primary responsibilities will include :
- Measuring, mixing, and pouring concrete to the desired consistency and quality.
- Finishing concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, such as trowels and floats, to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
- Creating and applying finishes, such as sealants and coatings, to protect and enhance the concrete surface.
- Repairing and patching concrete surfaces as needed.
- Understanding and interpreting project plans, specifications, and blueprints related to concrete work.
- Collaborating with a team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role. Knowledge of concrete mix designs, finishing techniques, and concrete-related tools and materials is essential. The ability to work well in a team, follow safety protocols, and perform physically demanding tasks are also important.
