Job descriptionPerform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA and local codes. Identify and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm panels, initiating devices, and notification appliances. Communicate with the fire department to coordinate system testing and avoid false alarms. Document inspections, test results, and service reports accurately. Provide recommendations for necessary repairs or system upgrades. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while working on-site. FDNY S98 certificate of fitness required to perform the work 3+ years of experience in fire alarm system inspection and servicing. Knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations. Familiarity with fire alarm systems from major manufacturers. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and fire department personnel. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites. Competitive starting pay $25-$45 / hour, depending on experience and ability to perform inspections independently Reimbursement for expenses : Train, parking, tolls, site to site mileage Option to enroll in benefits
