Now hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Estimator – Fire Alarm Systems !
Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Estimator to join their fast-growing team in Fort Worth, TX, specializing in the design and estimation of fire alarm and life safety systems for high-impact projects across healthcare, government, and education sectors.
Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Business Development, you’ll :
Interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and bid proposals using tools like Bluebeam Revu.
Collaborate with internal design teams to produce compliant system layouts.
Ensure all designs meet applicable codes and align with the Notifier product line.
Communicate proactively with contractors and stakeholders.
Provide value-engineering insights and risk assessments.
Support the sales team with technical expertise and stay current on industry trends.
This role blends strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration in a company that values innovation and employee ownership.
A current Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) is required—not just as a credential, but as a mark of professionalism and trusted expertise. FAL-certified professionals uphold rigorous safety standards and lead projects that protect lives.

Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience with fire alarm / life safety systems
- Technical master of Microsoft Word / Excel, Bluebeam Revu (AutoCAD a plus)
- Valid FAL and other strong credentials (NICET, RCDD, CTS welcome)
Hours : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm
Benefits :
Pay Rate : $60,000 - $75,000 + Commission
