Essential Job Duties :
As a CPR, First Aid, and AED Instructor, you are a vital part of NC State Wellness and Recreation. In this role, you will teach American Red Cross (ARC) certification courses, empowering participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively in emergencies. Join our Pack!
Contribute
- Course Instruction : Facilitate high-quality American Red Cross CPR, First Aid and AED courses for Wellness and Recreation student employees and club sport officers.
- Educational Delivery : Provide fun and motivational instruction and education on how to apply classroom knowledge in a job setting.
- Skill Assessment : Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure all certification requirements are met.
- Best Practices : Stay current with American Red Cross best practices.
- Course Management : Set up and break down classroom, including the preparation of manikins, AED trainers and first aid supplies.
- Inventory & Records : Assist with maintaining first aid supply equipment inventories. Maintain and organize participant information and paperwork.
- Administrative Tasks : Accurately record course rosters, submit digital certification requests via the Red Cross Learning Center, and maintain inventory logs for supplies.
- Safety & Maintenance : Clean and sanitize all equipment (manikins, masks, etc.) according to American Red Cross and Wellness and Recreation standards.
