About the Role
The company is excited to invite applications for the position of Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO), a vital role that drives our fundraising and philanthropic initiatives. As the CPO, you will be at the forefront of generating significant annual revenue while aligning our strategies with our mission and values. You will craft and implement innovative fundraising strategies, manage the development department's budget, and lead a small team dedicated to our cause. We are seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record in fundraising, including expertise in major and planned gifts, grant management, and successful events.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in fundraising, specifically within social service or community-based organizations. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and management skills are essential, alongside proficiency in donor management tools; experience with Salesforce is highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree is a must, and CFRE certification is a significant advantage.
We are particularly interested in candidates passionate about our mission, capable of fostering relationships within a diverse community, and committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in professional practice. Experience within the Jewish community is highly preferred. If you are a collaborative team player who prioritizes our mission and philanthropic initiatives, we encourage you to apply.
