Job Overview :
The Psychiatric Emergency Department Technician (PEDT) is an individual who assists the health care professionals in the delivery of care to patients.
Qualifications : Required :
- High School diploma or equivalent. At least one year of patient care experience. Maintains successful completion of all Orientation Programs to include BEST Training.
- Can work in a well-lighted office area. Participate in crisis de-escalation and restraint. Hazards include risk of exposure to communicable disease, risk of physical injury, operation of equipment, and hazardous chemicals.
