Summary :
The Prevention Coordinator will support the National Guard Bureau (NGB), J1 Warrior Resiliency & Fitness (WRF) Substance Abuse Program (SAP), Suicide Prevention Program (SP).
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions :
- Shall provide information briefing (Quarterly) on State and National level Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention.
- Shall input SAP and SP training and applicable information into the Drug and Alcohol Management Information System (DAMIS) and ALURRT within 48 hours of receipt
- Shall electronically report all scheduled SAP and SP training within 48 hours of training completion.
- Shall input all assessment / referral and treatment data of Service Members into DAMIS within 24 hours of appointment. The referral and treatment data will be updated for Service Members as required per their treatment plan / schedule.
- Shall coordinate and conduct SAP Training (which includes annual prevention training, targeted prevention training, and ADAPT (Prime for Life / MyPrime training and certifications)) and SP Training (which includes annual prevention training and ACE-SI) for Service members, families and ARNG units that meet or exceed the requirements in AR 600-85 and AR 350-53. In some cases, States may add additional prevention training tasks to meet State prevention standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
