Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Fleet Efficiency Manager to join our Customer Services department based in Herndon, VA.
Job Summary :
As a Fleet Efficiency Manager you will offer Fleet Management support to allow safe, reliable, economical operations at highest customer satisfaction for Freighter and new Passenger to Freighter converted (P2F) aircraft operating in the Americas.

Your challenges :
As a Fleet Efficiency Manager, you will be in charge of a regional portfolio of customers, for which you will :
Monitor and make recommendations to improve freighter / P2F fleet performance.
Define mitigations for regional issues in North America and follow up final fix availability, with close link with SB program team, especially with the SB cross-program freighter team / P2F MFT.
Contribute to reinforce the Airbus & EFW collaboration for P2F North American customers in the frame of the SB P2F MFT and act as relay in the region for the deployment of the specific way of working inside Customer Services organizations.
Support all Freighter Program teams and other Customer Services organizations by providing in-service data, reference data, dashboards, reports etc. and support Aircraft and Services Sales activities.
Promote fleet performance tools and support to North American customers.
Cooperate with authorities, monitor fleet performance of the Americas customers in respect of safety, reliability and economics, and propose necessary actions.
Build up partnership with North American customers (operators, STC holders & MROs), through regular visits, Fleet performance review, regional seminars and workshops.
Accountable for gathering from North America’s customers specific operational / maintenance / airworthiness requirements.
Initiate and monitor the development of specific support & services for third-party STC, with the contribution of other Customer Services organizations.
Contribute to ensure safety of the in-service fleet.
Prepare and support new freighter program EIS, with a close link to SBx program, as a transverse function in Airbus Americas customer service.
Your boarding pass :
4 years of relevant experience in Airline Maintenance & Engineering.
Bachelor's degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering, Aeronautical Studies or Aircraft Systems.
Knowledge of FAA / EASA Regulation(minimumJAR121,JAR145andJAR66).
Authorized to work in the US, without current or future need for visa sponsorship.
Regular business travels will be expected; consequently you must be willing to travel accordingly.
