Overview
Responsible to maintain in a clean and sanitary manner all facilities of the hospital as assigned by the Manager. Assigned work areas shall be maintained at a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation according to established policies and procedures and with the guidance of the Manager. Requires satisfactory completion of special procedures as assigned, from time to time, by the Managers.

Responsibilities
- Floor Tech maintains floors in a clean and sanitary manner. Floor Tech strips and refinishes floors per the direction of the EVS Manager / Supervisor. Floor Tech must receive certification in the floorcare training program.
- Cleans and sanitizes all areas of the hospital property.
- Operates cleaning equipment and checks for proper function. Maintains cleanliness of equipment.
- Maintains areas in an aesthetically pleasing and orderly fashion.

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.14 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work / Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
