The Fountain Group is currently seeking a  ­­­­­­­­Food Lab Technologist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in  ­­Columbus, OH.  Details for the position are as follows :

Job Description :

• ONSITE : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Supports the product development of nutritional liquid and powder products.
• Manufacture product in Pilot Plant facilities (perform batch calculations, create manufacturing instructions, order and weigh ingredients, assemble batches for processing and fill into containers).
• Coordinate analytical testing of product (prepare testing protocols, complete purchase orders, compile test results, perform unit conversions).
• Conduct product evaluations (powder oxidation and scoop delivery studies, in process testing of pH, viscosity and total solids).
• Communicate results of experiments (organize data into tables, prepare bills of materials, complete manufacturing run summaries).
• Mostly an office environment
• Day to day : manufacturing support, data collection, baseline calculations, organizing sample management, light lab work

Qualifications :

Compensation : $24 per hour
