Funky Buddha Brewery, located in Oakland Park, Florida, is seeking a Part-Time Food Runner to join its growing team. Established in 2010 at its Boca Raton brewpub, Funky Buddha is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional brewing methods with culinary-inspired recipes utilizing all-natural, food-centric ingredients. Some of its best-known beers include flagships Hop Gun IPA and Floridian Hefeweizen. This fast-growing company is the first production brewery in the greater Fort Lauderdale area and the largest brewery in South Florida and is positioned for rapid expansion over the next few years.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Food Runner with Funky Buddha Brewery, the candidate will work in the customer area of our retail space (tap room, banquet space & barrel room). Successful candidates will be a vital part of our busy tap room and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include :

• The main priority will be to provide our guests with outstanding customer service and actively help to improve their overall dining experience.
• Deliver food to all tables and bar (when applicable) timely and accurately.
• Food Runners act as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
• Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g., food allergies)
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g., proper temperature)
• Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins
