Schedule : Tuesday and Saturday 5 : 00am-1 : 30pm,&Tuesday and Saturday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm
Pay Rate : $18 / hour
Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking an experienced Forensic Processing Technician to support a leading forensic toxicology laboratory in Lenexa, KS. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong attention to detail, commitment to compliance, and interest in laboratory operations within a regulated environment.
As a Forensic Processing Technician , you will be responsible for the routine daily processing of forensic toxicology specimens. This includes specimen receipt, sorting, data entry, and ensuring compliance with all forensic protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
- Gain and apply a preliminary but functional understanding of the QTN Lab Information System
- Sort incoming specimens by type (e.g., hair, oral fluid, urine) and corresponding work lists
- Complete accurate and timely Maxilog data entry
- Adhere to strict forensic practices and chain-of-custody documentation standards
- Independently process urine specimens for regulated and non-regulated testing
- Scan and image all custody and control forms
- Properly discard negative specimens in accordance with policy
- Perform Flexilog on routine urine specimens at 70 CCFs (Custody and Control Forms) per hour
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Forensic Processing
