Akkodis is seeking a Data Scientist for a contract job with a client in Hartford, CT. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data storage and processing solutions on the Snowflake platform.

Rate Range : $70 / hour to $90 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Scientists job responsibilities include :

Design and implement data storage and processing solutions on the Snowflake platform.

Handle data migration activities and ensure smooth integration.

Optimize complex SQL queries for performance and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Utilize Python scripting, PySpark ETL, and PL / SQL for automation and data engineering.

Leverage the AWS cloud platform for cloud-based data operations.

Apply best practices in software development, including using git-based source control.

Understand and work with Snowflake’s architecture, including virtual warehouses, storage layers, and security features.

Desired Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and data science roles.

Proven expertise in Snowflake data platform and cloud-based data warehousing.

Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data migration processes.

Pay Details : $70.00 to $90.00 per hour
