Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fork Lift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing pulleys and take-ups for shipment, operating forklifts, and ensuring that goods are securely shipped to customers. This role also involves unloading steel trucks, using a hoist, and assisting in various shipping and receiving tasks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pulleys and take-ups for shipment.
- Operate forklift to load and unload trucks.
- Use bander to secure shipped goods to customers.
- Unload steel trucks as necessary.
- Operate hoist to load and unload trucks.
- Assist in loading and unloading flatbed trucks.
- Serve as back-up to the shipping supervisor.
- Assist in receiving parts and materials into inventory per policy.
- Conduct cycle counting.
