Job descriptionEffectively perform all essential functions, including physical requirements Ability to move awkward product lengths and weight. Experience with operating a forklift with a rate rating of 6,500 pounds. Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company-approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment. Basic math, interpersonal / team, and reasoning skills Ability to read, understand, and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions. Must be 18 years of age or older. Flexibility in scheduling - able to work overtime as needed Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment. Experience operating a forklift primarily with product weights of 2500 lbs. or more. Prior experience lifting wide loads as long as 18 feet. Minimum one year of experience operating a forklift. High School Diploma or GED

Hours : M-F 6 : 30am-3pm
Pay Rate : $17.50 / hour
Essential Responsibilities
- Operates a forklift to move products and pallets throughout the warehouse to an area safely.
- Communicate any discrepancies, product issues, or safety issues with the Supervisor.
- Ensures that product is moved and scanned using a radio frequency scanner to the correct location and confirms product labels are accurate.
- Maintains a clean and safe area free and clear of any debris.
- Anticipates the needs of the business, keeping like products together and accessible.
- Successfully passes all Novo forklift training and operates a forklift following all safety requirements established within Novo.
- May place standup items into designated areas by hand as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
