Your Role…
As a Geologist / Environmental Scientist at ChemTrack Alaska, your day is a mix of hands-on fieldwork and technical problem-solving. You might start in the Anchorage office, preparing Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs) and coordinating with the field team to ensure everything is ready for an upcoming investigation. Once on-site, you will lead sampling campaigns for soil, groundwater, and other media, ensuring compliance with ADEC regulations and project standards.
You will analyze data, troubleshoot challenges, and oversee the proper implementation of work plans, collaborating with your team to achieve project goals. Back in the office, you will draft technical reports, interpret analytical results, and provide guidance on environmental compliance. Whether you’re managing permits, mentoring staff, or working on proposals, your role is crucial to delivering high-quality solutions for clients.
Expect a dynamic work environment that includes travel across Alaska, occasional overtime, and opportunities to lead innovative projects. Bring your technical expertise, adaptability, and sense of adventure to a role where no two days are alike, and your contributions make a lasting impact on Alaska’s environment.
